Caring Friends Ministry
FUMC Nursing Home Ministry "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2
The Caring Ministries is chaired by Nancy Shelton. Our ministry continues to be committed to reaching out wiht love and assistance and cards to persons in our church family dealing with aging, illness, loss and crisis. We have been quite busy providing these services. The volunteer coordinators are: - Nancy Shelton: Coordinator for making visits to hospitals, coordinator for shut-ins, supporting families and caregivers of the sick, and visiting folks in nursing homes.
- Skip Greilich: Coordinator for transportation for people who need rides.
- Carolyn Sigmund: Coordinator for providing meals.
- Pastor Heath: Coordinator for serving home communion.
