L.I.F.E "Living in Faith Everyday"
The purpose of the Membership Ministry is to: A) Attract and welcome new members and; B) Track and encourage participation of current members.
In order to do this, we have the following responsibilities: 1. Track attendance of members and non-members by putting weekly attendance in the computer 2. See that visitors are welcomed when they attend church 3. By letter, invite regularly-attending non-members to join our church 4. Assign “New Friends” to those who decide to join our church 5. Send out letters annually to inactive members to see if they: a. Plan to withdraw their membership b. Have transferred, or plan to transfer, to another church c. Plan to re-connect with our church and become active again 6. Submit a list of inactive members to be removed from the church rolls, per the discipline of the United Methodist Church, to be acted upon at the annual church conference.
