A series of four classes that will help you develop a lifestyle of discipleship. Learn to build a lifestyle that maximizes all the purposes for which God created us. Develop the skills to becoming the kind of disciple God wants and the world needs. For each of these seminars childcare is available upon request with prior notification. L.I.F.E. 101 - “Exploring Church Membership” - Next Class - November 7, 2010, 4 - 8:30 p.m (with dinner)
- The first step - L.I.F.E 101 “Exploring Church Membership”.
- Learn about First UMC’s mission, vision & core values. What it means to be a Christian and what it means to be a member of First UMC Crystal Lake.
- First step in becoming a new member of First United Methodist Church.
- Members are also able to take this class.

L.I.F.E. 201 - “A Closer Walk with God”
- Next Class - TBA
- The second of the L.I.F.E. seminars.
- Learn healthy spiritual habits every Christian needs to develop in order to grow to spiritual maturity.
- This seminar will equip participants with the skills they need to begin these habits, continue them for life, and to develop a faith that works.
- Open to graduates of L.I.F.E. 101.

L.I.F.E. 301 – “Discovering My God-Given Potential”
- Next Class - TBA
- The third of the L.I.F.E. seminars
- Begin to discover God’s specific will for your individual life.
- Begin to see how God shaped you, what God wants you to do with your life, where God is leading you.
- Open to graduates of L.I.F.E. 101 & 201.

L.I.F.E. 401 - “Becoming A World-Class Christian”- Next Class - Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, 4 - 8:30 p.m (with dinner)
The fourth of the L.I.F.E. seminars.- Learn how to be a witness to others in a way that feels natural to you and attracts people to Jesus (as opposed to scaring them off!).
- Open to graduates of L.I.F.E. 101, 201 & 301 and who have completed their SHAPE Profile.
