Community Dinner Weekly
The mission of the First UMC Community Dinner is to provide a warm meal and a warm place for anyone with no cost and no pressure. We try to be God's hand in the world by providing a warm and welcoming place as well as an open dinner table.
The Community Dinner which has been in operation since January 5, 2003 and serves a hot meal to those in need in the Crystal Lake community every Sunday evening between 5 - 7 p.m. Members, youth, and community volunteers help prepare and serve this meal 52 weeks of the year.
Approximately 15,180 meals have been served since the outreach commenced.
