2013 Lenten Sermon Series

Ash Wednesday, February 13, 7:30 p.m.
Scripture: Luke 11:1-4
Teach Me to Pray

Everybody prays at some time or another. And yet, prayer is so difficult for so many people. What's the problem? It's not the "want to," but the "how to." We don't know how to pray for power. We don't know how to pray that brings us the experience of being in a real relationship with God. That's the gist of this sermon series, and it begins by exploring how prayer is all about being in and nurturing a relationship with God our "Father."
