Introduction

Here at First United Methodist Church we offer four different worship services, all with their own unique style & feel.

Saturday Nights' Alive! - 5:00 p.m.

An informal uplifting family service led by our spirited Praise Team and held in Hale Chapel. Communion is open to all and is served the first Saturday of each month. Nursery care is available during the worship service for children age 5 and under.

Sunday Morning Worship

8:00 a.m. Worship

A traditional worship service including choir, organ, handbells and occasional brass & strings. Communion is open to all and is offered each week at this service.  During the summer months, this service is held in our outside Chapel In the Woods (weather permitting). Nursery care is available for children 5 and under.

9:30 am Worship

A family worship with traditional liturgy including choirs, pipe organ, and piano providing the musical leadership, with handbells and occasional brass, woodwinds, and strings. Communion is open to all and is served on the first Sunday of the month. Sunday school for all age groups [children, youth, and adult] is available during this hour of worship. Nursery care is available for children ages 5 and under. This worship service is broadcast on Comcast TV on Wednesdays from 5 - 6 pm on the public access channels in your area.

11:00 am CrossRoads Service

CrossRoads is our contemporary, multimedia service.  Due to the upbeat musical style, this service attracts high school, college students, and young adults. Communion is open to all and is served the first Sunday of each month.  Nursery care is available for children ages 5 and under.
